The flesh is remarkably thick, firm and solid, and of very fine quality with very few seeds. It is an excel- lent shipper. Does not crack or rot, as is the case vp^ith many of the old sorts. It is known to be the most profitable tomato for the market gardener and trucker, and is unsurpassed for canning purposes.
