PACIFIC OCEAN (August 7, 2022) Aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9 fly by the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) during a sea and air power demonstration for embarked guests. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is underway conducting routine operations in the 3rd Fleet.
