Blue Speedwell / Veronica persica or V. agrestis flowers growing with Pineappleweed / Matricaria discoidea in sunny field. See NOTES for Speedwell ID
Unclear as to precise ID of this Speedwell - has rather toothy leaves and hairy flower stalks of Veronica persica, yet the flowers do not have a white lower petal (more of a pale blue here. True Germander Speedwell has fully blue flowers very much like ones seen, but the stalks only have hairs on opposite sides of stalks, which is not the case here. Could also be Green Field Speedwell / V. agrestis. May be a HYBRID species or natural variant of Field Speedwell which has a species anomaly (quite possible). Still, makes a very good example of Speedwell plants in general.
