F35B Lightning ll Joint Strike Fighters with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121 sit on the flight deck of the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD1), March 27, 2019 in the Philippine Sea. Marines with VMFA-121 will conduct 24-hour flight operations in international airspace during Exercise Balikatan 2019. The is proud to participate in the Philippines-led exercise in order to conduct capabilities development training that enhances our forces' tactics and procedures across a wide range of military operations.
