SAN DIEGO – (Feb. 10, 2023) Members of the Junior Enlisted Association and the First Class Petty Officer Association serve cake and ice cream on the mess decks aboard USS Boxer (LHD 4) in celebration of the ship’s 28th birthday. USS Boxer (LHD 4) is the 6th ship to bear the name in two centuries and is a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship homeported in San Diego.
