Manipuri:- Is characterized by variety of forms that are linked to Folk Tradition and rituals, Themes are generally taken from episodes in the life of Krishna, the pastoral god. During dance narrator may chant dialogue and characteristic singing. Manipuri is smooth graceful steps being light and close to floor. A flowing sway of body and liquid movements of arms & hands. Stronger and more forceful movements are used by Man.
