Tasmanian devil (Sarcophilus harrisii) showing it's teeth. The Tasmanian devil is native to Tasmania, Australia. It is mainly nocturnal and is carnivorous, taking large prey such as wombats, wallabies, sheep and rabbits. It is an aggressive scavenger eating both bones and fur from carrion (carcasses of dead animals). It uses its strong sense of smell to search for food at night. Photographed in Australia.
