Evening view of St James' Church, Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK, looking NE at the Norman nave with C14th aisles. Unusually the tower is in the angle between the C13th chancel & the N transept. Gerald of Wales (Geraldus Cambrensis) was born at Manorbier c 1146, he grew up in the castle and worshipped here as a boy.
