Located a few kilometres North of Esfarayen, in a remote mountainous valley, it seems that time has stopped in the small authentic village of Rooieen (Ruin). The village populated by 2,600 souls is famous for its handicrafts and ancient buildings, which demonstrate the wealth of Persian history.
