Placing cut Sapele veneer strips into drier, Ghana, West Africa
Logged Sapele timber is brought to the integrated saw mill (processing through to manufacture of wood products) where the log is prepared for peeling and sawing into smaller lengths before lifting by crane onto the cutting machine. Ghana forestry commission has a policy of sustainable forest management. Trees are replaced with new stock on an ongoing process.
