All growers are unanimous in their praise of this magnificent berry, and it is considered one of the finest mid-season to late-fruiting sorts. We do not know that is has a single defect, plants of extra strong constitution and growth doing well everywhere. The fruit is extra large, heart-shaped, color bright, rich red, and the flavor leaves nothing to be desired. A grand variety for preserving, retaining its flavor in a wonderful degree when canned. It always pro- duces satisfactory crops, and will always be found in the front rank of high-grade berries. $ per doz.; $ per 100; $ per 1000. Chesapeake (Late). A most reliable berry, which is giving perfect satisfaction in all parts of the country. It is not a variety that sets an immense quantity of fruit, but every blossom makes a berry, every berry being well developed and strictly fancy, of good color without any green tips and of the highest quality.
