Gourock to Inverkip Coastline West of Scotland July 2019

The walk from Gourock train station to Inverkip along the main road and sea front is mostly stony with a few sandy beaches made up from sand and pebbles. This public access walk is open to anyone and on a nicer day, this would make for an enjoyable day out along the coast whether its by car or foot. Though the route I took was on foot and at times the road veered from the coast front. The main highlight half way from Gourock and Inverkip was Cloch lighthouse, now automated though the house remains in use. Is a photogenic pretty little sight right and where the sun broke through the clouds long enough for me to capture it from all sides. This little lighthouse sits right on the road side looking over the water to the many islands and coastal holiday destinations scattered along the west coast of Scotland.
