Mystical pendants. Woodcut illustrations showing the designs of two pendants that the reader is warned to beware. The one at left is worn by someone to whom 'all spirits shall doo him homage,' that at right is worn by someone who is advised only to 'feare GOD.' This illustration was first published in The Discoverie of Witchcraft by Reginald Sccott, printed at London in 1584.
