A fine silver-mounted double-barrelled percussion shotgun, Boutet, Versailles, circa 1810. Side-by-side Damascus barrels with smooth bore in 14 mm calibre, patent breechblocks and silver front sight. Over the breeches signed in gold "Prelat A Paris". Lightly cut converted percussion locks (partially somewhat pitted) with flash-guards and signatures "BOUTET a Versailles". The cocks stamped "INV PRELAT". Dark walnut half stock with chequered small of the stock and stamped silver fittings decorated in deep relief.
