Original head of the Baroque statue of the Virgin Mary by Bohemian sculptor Johann Georg Bendl (Jan Jiří Bendl) once topped the Marian Column (Mariánský sloup) in Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) in Prague, now on display in the Lapidarium of the National Museum (Lapidárium Národního muzea) in Prague, Czech Republic. The head was purchased from a private collection in 1957.
