The "R and A" Junior Open, a three day event, is being held at Kilmarnock Barassie Golf Club, Troon, Ayrshire, Scotland with 98 male and 50 female competitors from 80 different countries. The age limit is "Under 16 years" and many of the competitors have low single figure, or "plus" handicaps.
