Freedom Academy delegates climb in a Salt Lake Unified Police Department vehicle Aug. 2, 2021, in Salt Lake City. The Utah National Guard and the Honorary Colonels Corps has sponsored Freedom Academy since 1961. Freedom Academy teaches our young leaders the importance of freedom, that it does come with a price, and leadership is essential to its survival.
