This ar- ticle examines to what degree age and size of A. greggii and C. floridum hosts affect the infection success of parasitic and autoparasitic P. californicum in south- ern Nevada and southeastern California. Materials and Methods Study Area and Field Measurements Field studies were conducted in the Mojave and Colorado Deserts of southern Nevada and southeastern Cahfornia, respectively, during the Fall of 1998 (Fig. I).
