Panch puran is a mix of five spices (not a dish) that is often used by bengalis to flavor their chonk/tarkas. The ingredients are the mixture of cumin, black mustard, fennel, nigella, and fenugreek in equal amounts. Tarkari(vegetable) is also known as ‘Subzi’. Paanch pooran tarkaari is a veg dish made from spices and vegetables.
