1st Medical Brigade's command team of Lt. Col. Robert F. Howe and Command Sgt. Maj. Jennifer Redding, along with 528th Hospital Command's Lt. Col. Deon Maxwell and Master Sgt. Arianna Pickens-Thomas, join United States Army Forces Command Commander, Gen. Michael X. Garrett, after being presented their awards. 1st Medical Bde. and 528th Hospital Command won the Army Exceptional Organization Safety Award in a ceremony April 10.
