The disease hadbeen of 18 months origin and spreadrapidly over nose, inner canthus of botheyes and considerably over both had been treated with paste,which denuded the parts and left scartissue and prominent blood disease rapidly recurred and at the. time she went under x-ray treatmentcould not sleep on account of was greatly emaciated. A large German tube with a largestatic machine was employed, and 49 ex-posures were made. The tube was madeto show articulations of the joints of thehand four feet away. Exposures weremade daily of 12 minutes duration, 10inches from the face, the healthy tissuebeing protected with ^-inch surgeonsfelt and a lead-zinc screen.
