SAN DIEGO (Mar. 13, 2017) Commanding Officer of Beachmaster Unit ONE (BMU-1), Cmdr. Jessica O’Brien, observes Beach Party Team Delta during Defense Combat Operations (DCO) training. The DCO course is designed to train Sailors on weapons familiarization, tactical movement, provide security during beach operations, understand basic combat medicine, basic navigation and to extract hostile engagements.
