This is one of the leading early wax pole beans, as it is earlier than the G -Idea Cluster pole wax, usually being ready to pick )\ ly 25. The pods are enormously large, resembling the Yosemite Wax in sue and form; color light yellow. They are absolutely stringless will readily cook tender, and are noted for quality and productiveness as well as size. The Golden Champion does not rust nor spot badly. The vines, while quite young, pro- duce the pods in great abundance near the ground, as early as any dwarf wax bean, and earlier than most pole beans.
