Theirudders are of a saffroncolor, delicate, with fine,soft hair, and have muchdandrufi. The first order has two tufts of small size along the vulva, and two ovab ^ on the udder. They give seventeen quarts, and g^.-_C^^?- tnUk eight months. The second order are similar to the first,only smaller escutcheons, the vulva tuftsare longer, and there is but one oval onthe udder, on the left. The right horn ofthe escutcheon is smaller than the left of the second order give fifteenquarts, and milk seven months. The third order have similar es cutcheons to the las% but smaller, whOe the vulva tufts are larger, there are no ovals, and there is an invasion of the descending hair on the right side.
