Amher6t, Mass., March 11, 1897. " We have used a De Laval ' Baby ' No. 3 Separator daily in our Dairy School during the past term, separating from 600 lbs. to 1200 lbs. of milk at a run, and with an average speed of 5812 rev. per minute; have obtained an average capacity of 6S2 lbs. of milk per hour, wi;h only .026 fat in skim-milk. In one test the skim-milk contained only .01 of fat. It has separated cold milk atoodeg., when other machines clogged badly, with only .1 of fat left. We think very favorably indeed of the 'Alpha' ma- ; F. S. Coolkv, Acting Prof of Agriculture. STORRS AGRICULTURAL EXPERIMENT STATION. Storrs, Conn., March 8, 1897. " We have used the 1 Baby' No. 2 Separators on the Co lege farm and at the Experiment Station with entirely satisfactory results. We find them durable, easy to clean, and very efficient. The loss of fat in the skim-milk tarely exceeds one-tenth of one percent. There is no other method of creaming milk so effi- cient" C. S. Phelps, Prof, of Agriculture.
