A Naval Strike Missile (NSM), part of the Navy Marine Expeditionary Ship Interdiction System, was successfully loaded onto a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 463 on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, August 25, 2021. The NSM is a long-range, precision strike weapon designed to support the Marine Littoral Regiment during Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations.
