The tissue paper was madeexpressly for Washingtons sheet bears his name andcrest, and a rude figure of Libertywith the pileus and cap, formingthe water-mark. The paper is quite coarse in texture com-pared with that manufactured at the present time. Theengraving of the water-mark is half the size of the WATER-MARK.
