MAYAPO, Colombia (March 23, 2017) - Cmdr. Amy Bryer, Continuing Promise 2017’s (CP-17) Lead Dentist, demonstrates how to properly clean teeth while also treating a host nation patient at the mission’s medical site in Mayapo, Colombia. CP-17 is a Southern Command-sponsored and Naval Forces Southern 4th Fleet-conducted deployment to conduct civil-military operations including humanitarian assistance, training engagements, medical, dental, and veterinary support in an effort to show support and commitment to Central and South America.
