In winter an omnibus runs between the tram-way and the villa (in 1/4 hr.; fare Y2 f^.). The * Villa of Hadrian, situated on the slope of tlie hills ofTivoli, l/2 M. from the town, once occupied with its gardens anarea of several square miles.
