You can find abstract beauty or interesting shapes just about anywhere, if you just look hard started as a close-up of the bark of a Silver Birch tree in Radley Village, Oxfordshire England. But then I got adventurous and turned it into something more colourful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including image folding, rotation, multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping.
