Woodward & Cochev was established in 1S91 by Mr. H. W. Woodward, in Stoneham,Mass. It then came under the control of Messrs. Woodward & Boynton, then to the present firm. In 1893, underthe name of the Acme Trimming Co., it was removed from Stoneham to Lynn, and the subsequent changes of firmmentioned occurring in Lynn. It is now doing business under the style firm of Woodward & Cochey. The com-pany utilize spacious premises equipped with an elaborate plant of the most improved machinery for the manufac-ture of tips, trimmings, etc., and give emplovment to about thirty-five assistants. Their trade is by no means con-fined to Lynn, and is so extensive and so coiistant that this is doubtless one of the busiest concerns of the kind inthe State.
