Los Angeles residents organized for the purpose of fighting billboard blight have gathered for a protest demonstration on North Cahuenga Boulevard near Franklin Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, specifically directed at the new type of electronic billboards capable of projecting very bright light due to their use of LED based illumination technology. These remotely controlled and animatable billboards are spreading rapidly throughout the urban landscape to the consternation of many.
