Snappy Gums (Eucalyptus leucophloia), Millstream Chichester National Park, Pilbara Region, Western Australia

Snappy Gums are endemic to the Pilbara Region of Western Australia where they are often found on poor sandstone soils and along gullies and intermittent watercourses. Millstream is a set of permanent pools strung along the seasonal Fortescue River and is the home to the Yindjibarndi people who call the tree majgan.
