Vitamin B3. Molecular model of nicotinamide, a derivative of vitamin B3 (also called niacin or nicotinic acid). Deficiency can lead to the disease pellegra, with symptoms including cracked and inflamed skin, a poor digestive system, diarrhoea and depression.
