PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 10, 2016) – Petty Officer 3rd Class Seth Howard, from Kenosha, Wi., lifts the ship's man overboard “Oscar” dummy aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102). Sampson will report to Third Fleet, headquartered in San Diego, while deployed to the Western Pacific as part of the Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of Third Fleet into the region.
