The last owner of the original home-stead estate of Johannes Keim theFounder, in Oley township, Berks , about three-fourths of a milesouthwest of Pleasantville, was Wil-liam Mensch Keim, who m. MaryGanser. His widow in 1895 sold the119 acres remaining of the original es-tate to Moses Everhard, who marriedthe daughter of Benneville Keim,brother of William Mensch Keimabove. The first log house built 1707, stood north- of the farm lane, west of thebarn, south of the present large stonefarmhouse and in the present appleorchard. (No. 1, p. 11, K. and A. F.)
