Neutron crystallography. The D20 powder-diffraction beamline inside the reactor hall of the Institut Laue-Langevin, Grenoble, France. This facility uses neutron beams for crystallography experiments. Neutron powder diffraction is used to determine the three-dimensional structure of powdered or microcrystalline materials by analysing diffraction patterns produced as beams of neutrons pass through them.
