Frauenkirche Interior . The alta piece shows a relief depiction of Jesus' agony in the Garden of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives (Luke 22:39-46) The Frauenkirche (Church of our Lady) was originally built between 1726 and 1743. Completely destroyed in WW2 by allied bombing. Reconstruction commenced in 1992 and since 2005 has been a symbol of international conciliation.
