Two months preceding ourobservation, the patient received Burroughs, Welcome & CompanysMixed Glands No. 2. This caused slight loss of weight, but noother change. Past history. ( cm.) in height. From symphysis to soles of thefeet she measured 29% in. ( cm.), and from symphysis to in. ( cm.). She was of a general pituitary type, with slighttendency to obesity, fullness about the lower abdomen and paddingon the lateral aspects of the thighs. The skin was slightly dry. Thehands were classically small, with short fingers and slight paddingon the dorsa. Head. There was a faint brownish pigmentation aboutthe forehead; the ears, eyes, nose and mouth were normal.
