London, UK, 7 May 2015. "Mother's Medal (Kink)" by Jon Baker, University of the Arts London. Jon Baker is one of the eight contenders for this year’s Catlin Art Prize whose works were unveiled at the opening preview at the Londonewcastle Project Space in Shoreditch, East London. The Catlin Art Prize is a curated exhibition presenting the most exciting new art graduates in the UK one year on from art school. Each was commissioned to develop a new body of work for the exhibition. The winner of the Catlin Art Prize 2015 will receive the award of £5,000 at a private ceremony on the evening of Wednesday 13th May. [UPDATE] The winner of the Catlin Art Prize 2015 was named as Zhu Tian.
