Mixed Sorts—Thirty to fifty kinds. Packet, 1 Oc. Carnations. Large, beautiful and very fragrant flowers, as perfect in form as the Rose. Seeds sown in open ground in May or June will flower splendidly the next season. They are nearly everywhere hardy, but in very cold situations should be pro- tected by straw or a few boughs. German, ExtraFine, Double Mixed—First quality. Packet, 8c. Guillaud Carnation—Far superior to any other Carnation seed ever offered; the flowers are of larger size, better Bub- stance, greater doubleness, and more varied markings and colorings, many having grounds and shadings of yellow, a color which is very rare in Carnations. The Guillaud Carna- tion will also like the Margueret, bloom the first summer, and if taken up in the fall the plants will bloom during the winter, yielding an abundance of the handsomest and most fragrant flowers. Packet, 15c, New Dwarf Double Carnation, Margaret—Most brilliant nov- elty of recent times. This beautiful new race of Carnations has'attracted the admiration of all who have grown it. Its rapid development, flowering as it does four months after sowingthe seed, its profusion of bloom variety of beautiful colors and delicious perfume will insure its popularity in all gardens where cut flowers are in demand.
