Damaged OE-1 Bird Dog plane lies on the bunker of Marine LCpl Paul Manley after crashing on September 21, 1967. Manley was on guard nearby when the plane's engine failed, causing it to plunge into the end of his bunker. Fortunately, Manley was unharmed and his bunker sustained no damage.
