At section the roentgen finding was verified. Tuberculosis of the Skull Tn contrast to syphilis, tuberculosis shows slight tendencyto attack the skull. When present, the most common site is inthose bones which have air chambers (temporal and ethmoidbones). In these eases the bone always becomes affectedthrough extension of the inflammation from a tuberculousmucous membrane. Tuberculosis is also found on the base ofthe skull in connection with tuberculosis of the upper cervicalvertebra.
