Seed-smen making importations of bulbs or stock under permit should read the remarks of C. L. Marlatt, on page 39, and also his warning, on page 44. The few warm days of last week luought a notable increase in the business in Chicago seed stores. At the store of A. Henderson & Co., tuberoses and cannas are moving particularly well at this time. Returning from his trip to Texas, Oklahoma and other southwestern states, H. A. Dcrtoli, of the W. W. Barnard Co., Chicago, reports little difficulty in secur- ing good orders, although the spring sea- son of that section is well under way. Manager Ralph B. Howe states that re- tail business is picking up with the warm- er weather and that onion sets are mov- ing exceptionally well. HOLLAND'S BULB CUSTOMERS.
