Matterhorn at dawn. View of the east face and Hornli Ridge of the Matterhorn, with the north face at right. The Matterhorn (German), Monte Cervino (Italian) or Mont Cervin (French), is a mountain in the Pennine Alps on the border between Switzerland and Italy. At 4,478 metres high, it is one of the highest peaks in the Alps. Photographed in Zermatt, Switzerland, in July.
