Stazione Nord Cadorna, Piazza Cadorna, Milano, Milan, Italy

Piazzale Cadorna is a central point, where frequent airport connections pass by, and two underground lines meet, causing a general frenzy. From Piazza Cadorna a long street departs, Carducci street, crossing the most important semi central streets of the city: Corso Magenta, San Vittore street (seat of the Science and technique Museum), and the church of Sant’Ambrogio, patron saint of the city. In this square is visible the giant needle, an 18 mt statue, made by Oldenberg as a homage to the city industriousness. This colourful statue gives a modern and characteristic touch to the square.
