First gas-powered cruise ship docks at Rotterdam Iona, a brand-new 184 345-meter-long cruise ship, which can carry 5200 passengers. The ship will be docked at Damen Verolme in the Botlek. The ship was built on the Meyerwerft in Papenburg and is now sailing on the Danish coast. The transfer has not yet taken place to P&O Cruises. It is the first LNG powered cruise ship to arrive in Rotterdam. Carnival still has ten LNG powered cruise ships on order.
