Dawn portrait, to Hyatt Hotel & Chrysler Building, American Flags lamp-post, East 42nd Street at Vanderbilt Avenue, New York

n 1980 the Trump Organisation bought and modernosed the Commodore Hotel, which had been built in 1919 as part of 'Terminal City', a complex of hotels and offices connected to the Grand Central Terminal. Trump re-built the hotel, transforming it with a new reflective glass facade and naming it the Grand Hyatt. The Grand Hyatt overshadows the Grand Central Terminal, and, in turn, is overshadowed by the Chrysler Building. An autumn dawn view.
