Since it came into his possession,Mr. Tammen has made all the improve-ments on the place and now has one of thefine homes of the township. He belongsto the Presbyterian church near Rock Rap-ids, Iowa. He was the prime mover in thework of building the German Evangelicalchurch of Steen.
