At center, Lt. Col. Eric Swanson, commander of the 113th Civil Engineer Squadron, District of Columbia Air National Guard, and Capt. Matthew Duller, deputy base civil engineer, welcome Jim Pettit, Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, during the ambassador's visit to two schools civil engineers renovated as part of a humanitarian civic assistance mission. Unit members installed new sidewalks, laminate flooring, ceramic tiling, suspended ceiling grid/tile, pre-hung doors and frames as well as energy efficient lighting.
